I am so thrilled to be working with the incredible Kate — the woman / genius behind H&H Weddings, a website and blog dedicated to providing resources and support for LGBT couples planning their wedding. They are featuring a real life (not to mention ridiculously adorable) couple, Jen + Lauren — and following them through their own wedding process. (Head over to H&H Weddings to read Jen’s amazing proposal story!) I met up with Jen + Lauren a few weeks ago in their NYC neighborhood and we walked through Prospect Park for a lovely engagement shoot.
They were utterly fantastic — super easy going plus they politely ignored my frantic heavy breathing as I raced them through a two hour session in about 35 minutes. And even better — they reminded me how much I love love — and how I feel so lucky to have the chance to document the realness of it just there, existing, between two amazing people.
