I have a soft spot the size of Brooklyn for these two.
I’ve been lucky enough to capture Shen and Adriana’s Bushwick engagement session and their Philadelphia courthouse elopement (they did everything right) – and I definitely find myself looking for another excuse to photograph them, hang out with them, just be around them for any reason, you know.
When we met up in Brooklyn for their engagement session – it was winter and so. very. cold. With the freezing temperatures and with the sun setting at you know, 3:00pm in the afternoon, we were rushing to find the Bushwick Collective – a magical intersection of huge murals, graffiti, art – but driving around in their car (so warm!), we somehow managed to get very lost. Thankfully, their determination (along with four GPS apps) got us there and we spent the last hour of the day making some of my most favorite images ever.
I was also very excited that one of my favorites (that first one below!) was chosen as part of Junebug Wedding’s Best of the Best 2017 Engagement Photo Collection. I love, love, love this particular photo – and again, am so grateful for crossing paths with Shen + Adriana and sharing this moment with them.
